The intern will work with the Africa Policy team and build skills in the area of writing, editing, research, time management, and subject knowledge of Africa, including history, politics, and economics. They will support the team in preparing for both an upcoming book and paper.

The scholars of the Council’s Asia Studies program focus on the broad challenges facing the Asia-Pacific region today—China’s rise, regional political and security trends, economic development and technological innovation—and the options available for United States policymakers as they confront these challenges. This particular internship will be an essential part of the team to support the fellow’s book and op-ed research, and managing the new website. The intern will gain insights into the latest developments and debates on China policy.
