The CIVICUS Youth Action Team (YAT) is looking for new members! Applications are open for two activists from Europe, two from the Americas and one from the Pacific. They will serve a renewable mandate of 12 to 14 months.
The CIVICUS Youth Action Team is an established group of young members that provide strategic guidance on how youth participation issues can be better mainstreamed in CIVICUS’ programmes, and how CIVICUS Youth can develop new activities aimed specifically at strengthening youth participation in civil society.
CIVICUS welcomes applications from all candidates who fulfill the specific profile, inclusive of gender identity and expression, income, disability, marital or parental status, race, ethnicity, colour, religion, belief or sexual orientation, etc.
Please read the YAT Terms of Reference before submitting your application form. The application form requires you to answer a few questions and submit a short video where you explain why your involvement in the YAT will contribute to creating a civil society that is more inclusive of and accountable to youth.

Please note that applications by candidates from Africa, Asia and the Middle East and North Africa will not be considered, as those regions are already represented in the current YAT.

The working language of the YAT is English. Applications can therefore be made in English only.
Applications are open to activists 30 years old or younger who are voting members of CIVICUS. If you are not yet a member of CIVICUS, please join here. If you are not yet a voting member, you can upgrade your membership by contacting membership@civicus.org before submitting your YAT application.
