Fearless Futures engages people in critical thought to understand and challenge the root causes of inequalities and grow powerful new ways of leading and designing transformative change. This is done through equity, leadership and design programmes for young people in schools and people in the workplace.

This is an exciting time at Fearless Futures, as more and more people become aware of our method and approach – regularly through word of mouth – and the power of our education to transform workplaces. As such we are seeking a person passionate about building workplaces that are equitable, inclusive and sites of belonging for all, to train, develop, support and evaluate our facilitation team and to design and streamline some of our learning resources and programme content.

You will work alongside and report into our Director of Programmes to grow our facilitator pool, to train, develop, quality assure and support our facilitators across all of our programmes.Specifically, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Delivering training (after being trained yourself in the FF method) to our new facilitators and as part of continuing capability development of our facilitator pool.
  • Managing all training and development needs of our brilliant pool of organisational facilitators including: Quality Assuring existing workshops/programmes, assessing apprenticing needs; running additional top up training and briefing facilitators ahead of workshops.
  • Managing the day-to-day learning design for our programmes including preparing workshop plans for facilitators (and innovating these, over time).
  • Growing our facilitator pool when relevant including outreach, publicity, recruitment and training of new cohorts.
  • Establishing resources, platforms and processes that allow our facilitators to deliver programmes professionally and expertly, and will support them to continuously grow. This role will also be responsible for all wellbeing needs of facilitators.
  • This role will also involve creating and building on existing learning manuals and resources.

In this role you will work very closely with our Corporate Programmes Manager, our Corporate Programmes Coordinators and our CEO.

Role Type: Full-time

Start date: Ideally asap (March/April 2019)

Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus public holidays.

Salary: £30-40,000 per rata, depending on experience

Location: Our offices are near Westbourne Park, with potential travel to our programmes across the UK and internationally

Desirable

  • Experience designing learning episodes / resources / curriculum.
  • Attendance at the training days of our new cohort of facilitators in March (7th, 8th, 11th and 12th) to observe how training method.
