Each year, FutureX accepts a cohort of rising tech leaders on their Silicon Valley Accelerate Programme, where they are given the opportunity to connect with some of the global players in the tech industry and pitch to potential investors. The Startup Summit Competition offers startups the opportunity to win a funded place on the programme (worth £3k) and £200k+ worth of business support from IBM, STV, Adopt an Intern and Johnston Carmichael.

This competition is open to UK-based entrepreneurs working with a technology product or service. We welcome applicants from all sectors; past entrants have come from law, care, lifestyle, environment, retail, energy, food and more. Entrants must be a Founder or Cofounder of the company, and only one entrant per company is eligible to apply.
All entrants must have a valid passport and be available to travel in April 2019. The entrant is also responsible for organising any necessary Visa and ESTA applications. Entrants must be available to attend (in person) the semi-final on the 19th of October in Edinburgh and final on the 31st of October in Edinburgh to have a
chance of winning.
The final of the Startup Summit Competition is a live pitch at Startup Summit on October 31st 2018. All applicants must be able to attend to be in with a chance of winning the place.
