One Young World is happy to announce it has made funding available for 15 Ambassadors to join the One Young World delegation to the European Development Days 2018! Sign up today to be considered for a funded place in the One Young World delegation. Selected Ambassadors will receive a set contribution for their accommodation and expenses in Brussels, and receive a travel contribution of up to €500.
The European Development Days (EDD) is Europe’s leading forum on international cooperation and development. Under the main thread of ‘Women and Girls at the Forefront of Sustainable Development: protect, empower, invest’, the EDD 2018 agenda will be framed by three major themes emerging as key priorities in today’s current context: ‘Ensuring the physical and psychological integrity of Girls and Women’, ‘Promoting economic and social rights and empowerment of Girls and Women’, ‘Strengthening Girls’ and Women’s voice and participation’.

EDD 2018 will take place from Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 June 2018, at the Tour & Taxis in Brussels (Belgium).
One Young World will be present at the European Development Days with a stand in the EDD Youth Lounge (5 and 6 June) and will organise a high-level panel on young leaders driving gender equality on 5 June with High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini, various One Young World Ambassadors and fellow young leaders. One Young World will also organise a social event for young leaders on the evening of the 5th of June for all young attendees of EDD 2018.
