The 2017 East Africa Youth Leadership Summit aims to bring together current and future leaders across East Africa to take stock of successes, challenges and lessons learned in fostering youth participation in governance and development processes in the region, and acquiring new ways of confronting challenges while maximizing the opportunities available at country and regional levels – going forward. Selected participants will be current leaders and those who have demonstrated leadership and talent potential in the political/government, private/business/entrepreneurship, media, the creative and the NGO/voluntary sectors and the academia/young researchers.
