Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September
as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. To further include young people, last year, the UN Security Council passed Resolution 2250 recognizing the role youth have to play in peace building and encouraging governments to engage young people at all levels of peace building.
This year, Diplomacy Opportunities is having two weeks of campaign on peacebuilding and looking forward to amplify the works of youths working along the theme of the 2017 International Peace Day “Together for Peace: Respect, Safety, and Dignity for All.”
