Youth Aid Africa is a youth empowerment organization that works to strengthen young peoples’ engagement in economic development and governance processes in Uganda and Africa. It was founded in 2012 as an annual student’s event to create a common ground for the youth to generate ideas on how to respond to the increasing challenges facing the youth, a need to deepen efforts in research, training, civic engagement and advocacy in areas related to economic development and governance. It was consequently incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee under the laws of Uganda.
