The GYCC-SD is a 3 day conference which will bring together 200 young people from across the country to learn about issues of Climate Change and the Sustainable Development agenda. The main objective is to build capacities of Ghanaian Youth for their effective participation in the implementation of Ghana’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) of the Paris Climate Agreement and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Apart from providing sufficient mentoring and skill building opportunities, the conference seeks as a post conference activity to mobilize resources to support youth initiatives that have the potential of addressing climate change and also contributing to the achievements of SDG targets at the national level.

ELIGIBILITY
1. Open to only Ghanaian Nationals aged between 18 to 30 years old, and belong to the group of young people who will play a decisive role in shaping the future
2. Young people who are passionate, dedicated and actively working in the area of climate change promoting environmental justice; sustainable land management; natural resource management; and Biodiversity conservation via different social channels.
3. Students, Bloggers, YouTubers, journalists, young leaders, artists, celebrities, or young people who are active in social movements, community organizations, and are currently active promoting at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
4. Young people or young activists who have been directly contributing to environmental initiative and have inspired others to do the same through social media platforms.
