The United Nations Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is a recruitment initiative for talented, highly qualified professionals to start a career as an international civil servant with the United Nations Secretariat. It consists of an entrance examination and professional development programmes once successful candidates start their career with the UN.
The 2017 UN Young Professionals Programme will cover 3 different job networks:
- Political, Peace and Humanitarian (POLNET)
- Management and Administration (MAGNET)
- Public Information and Conference Management (INFONET)
Basic Requirements
- Nationality of a participating Member State at the time of application
- Bachelor’s degree or at least a 3-year equivalent degree relevant for each exam area
- 32 years or younger (Date of birth: On or after 1 January 1985)
- Fluency in English and/or French
