To gain global recognition and develop a working SDGs in Nigeria and Africa, The Nigeria Youth SDGs Summit is looking for dedicated and passionate young people to fill positions in its working committee.
As stated by Mr. Wu Hongbo, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, “Leaving no one behind is one of the overarching principles of the 2030 Agenda. The first report demonstrates that the benefits of development are not equally shared by all”.
The committees include:
- Budget
- Agenda
- Registration
- Media
- Marketing
- Proposal & Speaker Selections
- Volunteer Coordination
- Research & Evaluation
Elligibility
Youth must be an active member of a youth group or council, must be 16 years or older. Be easy to reach and must be be a social media savvy. Must be active on the following platforms: an Email Address, preferably GMAIL, that is checked frequently; a phone number (Whatsapp number) where committee members can be contacted when needed, and a Facebook account that can be added to Messenger group chats.
