The World Peace Mission is a fully funded 40 day Peace Mission tour commencing from September to October. The Tours starts from Gandhi Ashram in India and covers Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Israel, Egypt, Sudan, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya and ends in South Africa.
The Mission is being supported by the Ministry of Tourism and the Government of India and being organised by Nagpur adventure and Sports Association along with Nagpur Municipal Corporation and the Rotary Club of Nagpur West RID 3030. A team of 40 Peace builders from around the world will be selected for the same.
The Mission tour is fully funded and all support in terms of Visa and Travel shall be provided.
The applications had closed earlier but due to prior delay in mission because of Security problems some participants had to withdraw. However the applications have now opened to select 4 participants from Europe, Northern and Southern America. These 4 participants must be 20 years in Age and must have good experience in involvement at projects of Grassroot level in Peacebuilding, Education, Environment, Culture, Youth Action and Development.
Interested participants can apply by sending their applications consisting the below form(Form1), Scanned copy of their passport (with at least 7 months validity) along with a compiled report of their Grassroot involvement and their CV and a letter of endorsement from their organisation supporting the project and endorsing the applicants participation to Omang Agrawal at omangagarwal2162@gmail.com
