The aim of the Peace Ambassador Program is to collect and send the feelings, opinions, messages of young people in India regarding the people of Pakistan and send them across the border through social media. We want to take the Indo-Pak relation out of the political sphere and get honest feedbacks from the youth. For this we need Peace Ambassadors to advocate about the campaign, ask people about their stories, anecdotes or any messaged they would like to share creatively.
The Ambassadors will be provided set targets that would have to complete. Creative ideas of capturing sentiments, implemented by them would be appreciated and rewarded.
This program will give the participants the following incentives:
- An opportunity to be a part of a unique campaign connecting the youth of India and Pakistan. A lot of learning and broadening of horizons is in store for our Ambassadors.
- An online certificate containing signatures and logos of Humans of Pakistan, Lighthouse Project, Red Elephant Foundation, YFPI
- Ambassadors exceeding expectations will be offered a chance to be a part of the No Hate Speech Movement campaign with CYPAN and YFPI in 2017. They will also get exciting blogging opportunities. The best blogs will be listed on the Commonwealth Youth Peace Ambassadors Network website
- Ambassadors will be evaluated weekly. Those going beyond their given targets efficiently will be given a chance to head a team of the Ambassadors and this will be mentioned in their certificates
